I think the problem is you are haveing the wrong person sharpening them. When some people sharpen them they take off half the blade. I know a few people who have had them for almost 15 years and they still cut great. I would suggest you find someone really good to sharpen them. Don't forget to wipe the blades dry after each haircut and keep them stored in a dry place.
