Which is better cutting hair: Sciss...

I usually get my hair clipped with scissors, but I’m stylist shopping. When I go, I want to be more knowledgable about cutting so that I can communicate what I want, so help me out. Thanks.

It depends on the style.
Use razor for:
-short styles
-longer styles with layers
-a cut meant to add texture
-if you have thick hair

Use scissors for:
-long styles without layers
-if you have thinner hair

razor cuts give your ends texture and used to thin hair out if its too thick. Sheers are best for cuts..

scissors most definitely.
razors are used if you want layers, and they cause a lot of split ends.
unless you want layers you should tell them to cut your hair with scissors.

You can get it cut with scissors that texurize it with a razor!
It will look so much better and not look so "blah"

i think that a razor is the best but it really depens on your style i usually get it cut with a razor because it gives it something extra that people cant really put there finger on but is there.

scissors because when using scissors you get a even cut but with a razor you don’t,

there usually used when getting layers and it hurts when you get your hair cut with a razor trust me i got it before

so stick with scissors
