With all the drama surrounding the Tiger Woods Affairs Voicemail today, it’s difficult for people to concentrate on more important topics like Chris Rock on The Oprah Show in support of “Good Hair” today at 4pm PST. While Tiger Woods alleged affair with Jaimee Grubbs has been all over the tabloids, it is still up in the air and totally unverifiable. Personally, I think it is total b.s. and the while the Tiger Woods Affair will slightly tarnish the Athlete’s image, the fact that yet another “golddigger” has come out of the wood work. She is a former cocktail waitress from “Tool Academy” and is claiming that she has a Tiger Woods Affairs Voicemail and text messages to back it up. Yeah right, where did the National Enquirer find this new idiot?

Let’s quit with the Tiger Woods Affairs Voicemail, there are more important things to talk about like Chris Rock going on the Oprah Show Today, December 2nd, to promote his new movie, “Good Hair”. The movie is set to break office box records and the actor and comedian, Chris Rock, is going on the Oprah show to discuss why he decided to make a movie about the “black hair industry.”

Chris Rock is an Emmy-winning comedian, devoted husband and loving father—but it’s time to get to know a new side of this funnyman. Meet Chris Rock, hair expert.

It’s a detour he took after an innocent carpool ride left Chris with an idea he just couldn’t shake. “I was with my daughter one day, and we’re in the car and she’s with one of her friends in the back seat, a little white friend,” he says. “She was just kind of raving about her friend’s hair a little too much for my comfort [saying]: ‘You’ve got great hair. Oh, your hair’s so good.’”

Not wanting to make her comments a big deal, Chris says he tried to play his them off. “[I said]: “Oh, baby, your hair’s beautiful. Come on,’” he says. “If I would have really reacted, then she would have a complex about her hair.”

Still, Chris couldn’t let it go. “It sparked something in me,” he says.

African American Hairstyles inspire...

African American hairstyles have been very famous in the fashion industry because of Tyra Banks. Gosh, she looks nice with that hair which probably is original. We are really not concerned with the originality of her hair but Chris Rock is!

Yes I am talking about the comedian actor – Chris Rock who has been so inspired by the African American hairstyles that he has made a movie about them! Titled ‘Good Hair,’ the movie hits theaters this Friday and takes a look at the role hair, hairstyles and everyone in the cosmetology industry play in the lives of African Americans.

So what inspired this comedian to make a movie that deals with hair salons, hairstylists, hairdressing shears, etc.? Well, the man himself says that he was highly inspired by following the Bronner Bros. Hair Show during his early days in the 1990s. But when his daughters complained to him about their bad appearance and hairstyle, Chris became more serious about the subject and decided to explore it. He says that unlike white women who are concerned with weight and age issues, black women are very cautious about their hair. That’s an interesting fact by the way!

Though it’s a new concept, I do not know how much appreciation the audience will give to Good Hair. In fact, problems have already begun after Chris was sued by another filmmaker for stealing her idea about African American hairstyles.

Good Hair features some popular faces in the industry such as Maya Angelou, Nia Long, Ice-T, Raven Symone, Salt ‘n Pepa and Eve. The movie showcases many different aspects of the industry which are no laughing matter. But the most important thing which the viewer will walk away with from the whole story is that the billion-dollar hair business is mostly being funded by black people. People are so passionate about their African American hairstyles that they end up spending a lot of money.
